Commissioner Boatright Endorses Justin Taylor

Picture
Nassau County, FL – The Justin Taylor Campaign announced this week the endorsement of current District 5 County Commissioner, Junior Boatright. Boatright, who opted not to seek reelection, believes Taylor is the ideal successor to his post.

“There is only one candidate that has the drive, knowledge, experience and leadership skills to continue advancing our County,” said Boatright in a released statement. “I've worked closely with Justin for years getting to witness first hand his incredible passion and desire to serve. He is energetic and has a large stake in our future since he is raising a family here and sees the importance that today's decisions will have on future generations.”

Commissioner Boatright has served as district 5 Commissioner for the last eight years. During this time, the County has paid down debt, obtained tens of millions of dollars in State and Federal funding to improve our community, partnered with municipalities and other Constitutional Offices to enhance service levels and reduce costs, and worked tirelessly planning for the future of the County including the Crawford Diamond and East Nassau Community Planning Area developments which will bring thousands of high paying jobs to the County and greatly improve the local economy. All of these accomplishments occurred while weathering the challenges of the economic downturn and maintaining a low tax rate.

The election will be held on August 30th. For more information on the Justin Taylor campaign, you can visit www.VoteJustinTaylor.com.
