As Nassau County continues to grow, we need to sustain that growth in such a way that we make it easier to attract new businesses that are beneficial to our citizens.
This will assist in reducing the 60% of estimated Nassau citizens that currently have to travel out of the County for employment. In addition, this will positively increases tax revenues to the County and help offset or assist in prevention of tax increases to taxpayers.
Nassau County is very diverse. We have everything from farming to beaches, industrial to tourism, and everything in between. The wants and desires are very different in each Nassau County community, therefore we must manage the growth while improving our quality of life. It’s a delicate balance that must be maintained.

Quality of Life
I believe Nassau County citizens should feel proud to reside here. Quality of life not only refers to individual’s feelings, but also includes having qualified public safety employees such as law enforcement officers and fire/rescue personnel, maintaining county roads to an acceptable level, maintaining right-of-ways and medians, and maintaining our beaches.
Transparency and Open Communication with Taxpayers
I will ensure to the best of my ability that taxpayers are aware of what is happening at the County level. I feel it is important taxpayers are fully informed of issues and will be approachable to address citizen concerns. We need good government with lasting values. We must remove the politics and insert good government service.
